Songwriter

some people are surprised when they visit my site and see the songs I have written. I am basically doing the one man band thing – and have a lot of songs in the works. I do enjoy drumming – and have done so since I was about 5. For me though I really enjoy the whole song building experience – and as much as I like drumming – I find there is a lot more room to roam with songwriting. I have been writing songs, poems and things like this for over 20 years. I once released a tape of songs under the pseudonym Randall, but it was a private release, and never really saw the light of day. it was a stripped down somewhat dark item anyway – so no hard feelings there. I had an “almost” signing with warner bros. records a few years ago…they heard a song I did – and offered me a publishing deal if I could write 4 more like it, and I was instantly at a roadblock. Writing 4 more songs in the same style / genre is a brand new concept – and I did not make it. Right now I have some third parties that are interested in my music – and that is the partial reason for my remixes – and album decision. God willing I will be able to continue on in this path for some time, as I feel like I have a lot to say, many ideas, and I can’t think of anywhere else I’d be happier.
